SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT SERIES
Four uniquely-cut Larimar pieces are the main stones for this pair of earring. One-of-a-kind. A variation of the sweet Kueh Koci glutinuous rice dessert banana leaf wrap-inspired weave design is used here. Simple earring S-hooks are used here.
A fun take on Singapore colloquial language used on jewellery. Uniquely Singaporean.
In Singapore, the phrase ‘same same but different’ is a popular colloquial expression used to describe two things that seem identical on the surface but have distinct, important differences under closer inspection.
While it is widely used across Southeast Asia (particularly in Thailand), Singaporeans frequently use it in daily conversation and Singlish to express nuance without getting overly technical.
