WHAT IS DEMI-FINE JEWELLERY?
Demi-fine jewellery is a category that bridges the gap between affordable fashion/costume jewellery and expensive fine jewellery. It offers the look, quality, and feel of luxury pieces but at a more accessible price point. Core Characteristics The Materials: It uses high-quality base metals, most commonly 925 sterling silver or surgical-grade stainless steel. The Coating: Pieces are typically coated/ mechanically bonded with a thick layer of 14k-18k gold (often referred to as gold-filled / gold vermeil) or rhodium for a premium finish. The Gemstones: Apart from rubies, sapphires, real diamonds, or jade, it usually features semi-precious stones (like topaz, garnet, amethyst, and labradorite) or high-quality simulants like cubic zirconia and lab-grown crystals. Durability: Unlike cheap costume jewellery that quickly turns green, demi-fine pieces are largely hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and designed to last for years with proper care.
WE USE QUALITY WIRE
Our jewellery wires are fused with a 14k-16k gold-filled layer, using gold-fused technology—more commonly referred to in the industry as gold-filled, rolled gold, or gold-bonded technology. This mechanical manufacturing process where a thick sheet of real karat gold is permanently bonded to a base metal core (usually silver, brass or copper core) using extreme heat and pressure. Yes, gold-fused jewelry is highly long-lasting, especially when compared to standard gold-electroplating (also known as gold-plating). Because the gold is physically melted and compressed onto the base metal rather than lightly deposited via an electrical bath, the layer is incredibly thick and will not flake, peel, or turn your skin green.

It is a unique form of wearable art, handcrafted by intricately weaving fine metal wires around gemstones or decorative elements. Unlike mass-produced jewellery that relies on casting or soldering, wire weaving is built strand by strand using carefully planned patterns, patience and precision. Each piece begins with individual wires that are shaped, woven and secured entirely by hand. WE USE LAB-GROWN GEMSTONES
We may have a limited series of lab-grown gemstones in earrings or pendants available for sale. Why did we choose this for our jewellery? Lab-grown gemstones are just as high quality as natural gemstones. They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties. Explanation - Process: Lab-grown gemstones are made in a lab using the same heat and pressure as natural gemstones, but in a fraction of the time. - Composition: Lab-grown gemstones are made from the same mineral crystals as natural gemstones. - Appearance: Lab-grown gemstones can look identical to natural gemstones. - Inclusions: Lab-grown gemstones usually have fewer inclusions than natural gemstones because they are made in a controlled process. - Cost: Lab-grown gemstones are less expensive than natural gemstones because they are faster and cheaper to make. - Availability: Lab-grown gemstones are more readily available than natural gemstones. Lab-grown gemstones are also known as synthetic, artificial, or man-made. They are ideal for daily wear and long-term use in jewelry.
QUALITY OF OUR GEMSTONES
Our gemstones are purchased from different and curated lapidaries. Natural semi-precious gemstones are our top priority. They can come from different mines in different countries with different soil composition, hence they are in different colours or tones. Sometimes, treated gemstones that we are aware of accepted and used because of its existing value and safety, such as lab-grown Moissanite, Swarovski glass-tinted beads and heat-treated gemstones , especially for some jade pieces. Heat-treated gemstones are safe and the final outcome of stronger colours are permanent. We will declare this where we possibly are aware. Primarily, we explore to enhance our gemstone type, variety and medium to high grades, for our customers.
WHY DO I OFFER JEWELLERY CUSTOMIZATION SERVICES?
Most of my jewellery is created using my own design frames and carefully selected gemstones, which are then handcrafted into finished pendants, earrings and brooches. However, I also offer a special customisation service exclusively for VIP customers who have spent over $200 in our store. During their VIP membership period, eligible customers may request to use their own gemstones in selected single- or double-stone jewellery designs. This service is especially meaningful if you have a special gemstone that holds sentimental value and would love to transform it into a beautiful, wearable piece of jewellery or a treasured keepsake.
